Wrist up date

So I went today to see the orthopedic Dr. and he said that there is NO tear and if there was one, it is healing. So I can now start to do more with my wrist and don't need to have surgery!!! Woo Hoo.

Well today I had to go to the Hospital to get another MRI on my wrist. Got there at 7:45am and didn't get out of there till 11:20am. Has to be one of my worst experiences. They had to put a die in my wrist and now it is stiff and VERY sore. Now I just pray that its all ok and I don't need to have surgery.

More Snow

Well we got more snow yesterday. I'm all good with the snow, but when you live in Maine its not that fluffy stuff you find in other states like Cali. Here you have snow and then it turns to ICE. Not fun at all. Today it was sunny and a little warm (31 degrees)!!! I'm ready to start wearing my flip flops again!! Help me pray for some warmer weather!!!

Well my name is Valarie Eva Walker, but everyone calls me Val. I was born in Santa Maria, CA till I was a freshman in HS when my family moved to Penn Valley, CA. If you look on a map you can’t see it, but if you find Grass Valley, CA then you close by!!! It’s about an hour thirty north of Sacramento in the Gold Country. I graduated from Nevada Union HS in 2001, Went to Sierra College where I received 5 degrees. Moved to Reno, NV for a yr while going to school at Grand Canyon University and in the summer of 2006 I moved to Southport Island, ME where I have been since. I currently work for Compass Rose Events as an Event Manager, Staffing Coordinator, Work with Vendors, and work Inside Sales. I also work with the Boothbay Region Ambulance as an EMT, Volunteer with the Boothbay Fire Department and Bartend in the Summer time!!! So much to do with so little time!!! When I'm not busy working I enjoy hanging with friends going bowling, fishing, camping, playing softball, wakeboarding, anything outside.
